Pat Cosgrave, the rider of PLEASANT HUMOR (USA), which was unplaced, reported that the colt WAS SLOWLY AWAY.
The Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race he found that EMPRESS CHARLOTTE, trained by M.L.W. Bell, which was unplaced, LOST A RIGHT FORE SHOE.
G. Baker, the rider of RED YARN, which was unplaced, reported that the filly HUNG BADLY RIGHT UNDER PRESSURE.
Hayley Turner, the rider of YES CHEF, which was unplaced, reported that the colt HUNG LEFT.
S. Drowne, the rider of ECLIPSED (USA), which was unplaced, reported that the gelding HUNG LEFT.
M. Coumbe (5), the rider of RED FLASH (IRE), which was unplaced, reported that the colt LOST HIS RIGHT HIND SHOE.
D. Sweeney, the rider of FAIR BREEZE, which was placed fourth, reported, reported that the filly HUNG LEFT.
S. Drowne, the rider of DOMINO DANCER (IRE), which started and finished unplaced, reported that the gelding STOPPED QUICKLY. The Stewards ordered DOMINO DANCER (IRE) to be routine tested.
L. Dettori, the rider of SAHAFH (USA), which was unplaced, reported that the filly REARED UP AS THE STALLS OPENED AND WAS SLOWLY AWAY, LOSING MANY LENGTHS.

The Stewards gave permission for Race Seven to be started by flag, due to a faulty mechanism on the starting tape.
K. James, the rider of THAT’S ALL RIGHT (IRE), reported the saddle slipped.
R. Walford, the rider of WINTER HOLLY, reported the saddle slipped.
B. Ellison, the trainer of MIEREVELD, reported the gelding had a breathing problem.
The Stewards considered the running of THELOBSTERCATCHER ridden by Richard Johnson and trained by P. Bowen, who started second favourite and finished unplaced and having received a report that the trainer was unable to offer any explanation and in the absence of any other relevant information, they decided not to hold an enquiry. The Stewards ordered THELOBSTERCATCHER to be routine tested.
